Terms
and Conditions

No
cancellation of registration after we have received your
registration form via fax, email, online and/or mail. Payment, if
not already paid, is due. Full
payment should be paid in advance 3 days prior to the event date,
otherwise, an administration cost of HK$300 will be incurred.

Full
payment of fee by cheque is payable to Professional
Learning Institute
(for CPD/CPT and
non-core CPD courses) or Direct Education Centre (for
CEF courses) or Central Learning Holdings Limited (for
other courses) or
by direct transfer to our account, The Bank
of China #012-349-10038207 (for Professional Learning Institute
only),
then, fax/email us the bank slip to reserve
your seat(s). Our
mailing and/or registration office is at Direct Education Centre on
5/F, Jim's Commercial Building, 104 Des
Voeux Road Central, Central, Hong Kong . No
seat reservation will guarantee to be made (but still to be
paid) if we have not received your payment 3 days prior to the
course commencement. Walk-in registration is acceptable when there
is any vacancy and we only accept cash payment on the spot.

Registration
fee is as stated for the conference, course, seminar or workshop.
Course fee includes tuition, materials and refreshments but not
covering any accommodation, airfare or other travel costs incurred
by registrants.

No refund
but can nominate any referral to attend the registered seminar or
transfer the right to attend another seminar at the same rate
within 6 months from the original seminar date. To transfer any
course, at least before 3 days in advanced written notice is
required. The
price difference should be paid if you transfer to another
seminar at a higher price.

Central
Learning Holdings Limited / Professional Learning Institute reserves the right to make alterations
or cancel any courses without advance notice due to the nature of
a conference business. If a course is rescheduled and the
registrant cannot attend the rescheduled course, then course fees
will not be refunded but can be transferred to another course to
be held within 6 months of the date of the rescheduled course, and
the registrant or another person nominated by him/her can attend
such course.

If you are a
lawyer to acquire CPD points from the Law Society of Hong Kong,
you should bring with your Law Society membership card to sign in
and sign out at CPD seminars. You should obey an attendance
policy regulated by the Law Society of Hong Kong when you attend
the seminars(s).

Our
attendance policy will be distributed to all registrants during
the event. We need your co-operation to follow our policy in
class. For CPT or Non-Core CPD accreditation, licensed persons or
insurance brokers should check with your employer, Securities and
Futures Commission or Your registered Association(s) to recognize any
seminars or workshops. For Executive seminars and workshops, no
letter of attendance will be distributed.
For Continuing Education Fund programs, Certificate of
Completion will be issued in one, two and three modules provided
that the attendees have passed all quiz, in-class homework and
internal examination. No certificate will be issued to the student attending
the preparatory public examination course.

Official
receipt and the letter of attendance will be issued if you attend
the whole session per seminar or workshop, or 80% sessions per
short course and distributed to each applicant in the end of the
class if the payment has settled. The
cost is FREE covering an official receipt and an attendance
certificate per registrant. If any registrant has lost the
original copy, the cost is HK$50 per duplicated one. Payment
should be paid in advance.

Seminars
will be cancelled if a No.8 or higher tropical cyclone signal or
black storm warning is raised within 3 hours before the start of
registration or during the conference. In the event of
cancellation due to bad weather, the conference will be
re-scheduled or registrations may be transferred within 6 months
to any other Professional Learning Institute. No refund will be
given.

The
personal data collected about you will be kept confidential by us
and will only be used in connection with the provision of
information about our courses. Under the Personal Data (Privacy)
Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and correction
of personal data held by us related to you.
